Shocking! Aberdeenshire Council asks 5 year olds about their trans identity, allows boys to use girls bathrooms
It was revealed earlier this year that Aberdeenshire council asked kids as young as five for their gender identity, and if they would be comfortable with unisex toilets. It has now been revealed that children who identify as trans can use whatever toilet makes them feel comfortable.
Euan Morrice, NE chairman of the Family party said: “This is beyond unacceptable to allow boys to use girls bathrooms. It is only a matter of time before something goes wrong here and kids are put in danger. Only the Scottish Family party have been vocally opposing this, and I am glad to say our local candidate Phil Reynolds would oppose this where the council has failed to protect children”

Earlier this year, councillors voted to cut over £35mn from the annual budget. The Scottish Family Party have heard from residents that they feel council services are now not working for them and are feeling worse off because of the cuts.
· School patrols are a thing of the past, putting kids walking to school at greater risk.
· Over 6,000 children who need speech therapy are now without specialists, with teachers warning of an “Alarming number of children with speech issues”.
· Many School kitchens to close and dynamic pricing to be brought into all schools, meaning kids could pay much more for their food depending on supply.
· Parking charges have soared by up to 30%, with new charges for previously free parking spots across Aberdeenshire
· Residents forced to take household waste to the recycling centre, could result in an increase of fly tipping The Scottish Family Party say that residents in Buchan should be getting quality services for a fair price, not having vital service cut by the council to further pay for administration costs.
